About me

They say Mihály Csíkszentmihályi first observed the phenomenon of “flow” while watching painters. I won’t argue with him.
When I paint—just like someone once said during a painting session—the most important thing is how I mix that blue.
Something like that.
As a young person, I loved drawing, painting, creating objects. I sewed, knitted, even painted walls. I probably created the first three-dimensional painting—at least in my world.
During my long career as a marketing director, I still found creativity in the form of colorful, ever-changing, inventive challenges. But with all the work, there was hardly time for hobbies. Nearly four decades passed without “making art.”
After retiring, I finally had time to return to creating and learning. Though I’d already taken part in a few painting workshops earlier, it was in 2020 that I truly began searching for my own path in painting.
Much of where I am now I owe to Tünde Mulik, the leader of the Zöld Alma art studio. Her open workshops inspired, supported, and taught me. My very first group exhibition was with the artists from that studio.
