Get to know me better
Mihály Csíkszentmihályi is believed to have identified the phenomenon of flow by observing painters. While painting – as someone once said during a painting experience – one thing is important, which is how I will mix that blue.
Something like that.
Even as a young person, I enjoyed drawing, painting, creating objects, sewing, knitting, and painting walls. I likely created the first three-dimensional painting.
During my long career – as a marketing director – I found creativity in varied, colorful, and creative tasks. Amidst much work, I had no time for hobbies. Thus, nearly four decades passed without “creating.”
As a retiree, I had more time for “creating” and learning. Although I had participated in painting experience sessions in preceding years, it was in 2020 that I started searching for my own path in painting.
I owe my present to the leader of the Green Apple Studio, Tünde Mulik, who inspired, helped, and taught me in open studio sessions. I also experienced my first group exhibition with the creators from the Open Studio.

Locations where my painting “Window” will be displayed: January 2024 – Zagreb; early March – Romania; March 25 – Budapest, Kugler Art Salon; April 17 – Bologna, Spazio DumBO; May 17 – Helsinki, Lapinlahti; June 12 – Brussels.
The exhibition series will conclude at the end of September in Greece, Wales, Ireland, and finally London.
